G.A.'s Girls in Action

G.A. stands for Girls in Action and is a mission education program for girls in 1st-6th grade.

Through the G.A. program, girls ...

- Learn what missionaries do.
- Pray for missionaries and their work.
- Discover how they can help other people.
- Save and give money to tell other people about Jesus.
- Learn about people and cultures around the world.
- Complete World Venture activities.
- Participate in special ministry projects.
- Have fun with friends and leaders.

• G.A.’s helps girls develop spiritually towards a missions lifestyle.

• During G.A. meetings, girls are involved in hands-on missions learning experiences through Bible study, prayer, games, crafts, drama, art, and more.

• In G.A.’s, girls learn…
  • a Biblical worldview that encompasses the globe.
  • ways to demonstrate the love of Christ to others.
  • how God is working around the world.
  • that they are a part of God’s plan.

• NEW! Girls who have faithful, high attendance will be invited to special reward parties throughout the year.

• The World Venture program from prior years has been discontinued.

• G.A.’s meet on Wednesday from 7:00-8:10. EXTRA! follows from 8:10-8:30. Girls not wishing to participate in EXTRA! (a/k/a game time) must be picked up in their classrooms at 8:05. Girls participating in “EXTRA” will be walked down to the concourse area for pick-up at 8:30.

• Regular attendance in G.A.'s will help girls to develop friendships and develop a heart for missions.

Parents are encouraged to help in G.A.'s and game time.
