DC4K ... DivorceCare for Kids

DivorceCare for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At their weekly DC4K group gatherings, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel.  Best of all, children will learn how God's love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy! The DC4K group meets weekly in 13-week cycles (DivorceCare for adults also meets in a 13 week cycle). We combine games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted. They look forward to each time their DC4K “family” gets together.

Important details for your consideration:

  • DC4K is for children 8 to 12 years of age.  Free childcare or children's activities are available for children not of the age appropriate for this class.
  • DC4K meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in room C-211, which is located on the 2nd floor of the administration building, Bell Shoals Campus (click HERE for directions). 
  • DC4K and DivorceCare are programs open to our community.  All are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Class are being offered during the 2012 Fall Impact Semester (Sept. 19 - Dec. 19, 2012), in room C-214 (2nd floor of Administration Bldg.) on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
